UPMin – ITO

This policy outlines the guidelines for group mailing at the university. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that only authorized personnel can send appropriate emails to mailing lists.

1. Only authorized office emails and officials are allowed to send emails through the announcement mailing list (mindanao_announcement-list@up.edu.ph). Constituents may request the Public Relations Office (PRO) to send emails regarding official activities through the announcement group mail.

2. Offices that are granted access to the mailing list should adhere to the following guidelines:

3. The table below provides a list of other authorized permissions to specific mailing lists and a list of mailing groups that are available for use.

4. Authorized personnel can request access to a specific mailing list by sending a request letter to the ITO and forwarding the request to the Office of the Chancellor. Access to a specific mailing list is subject to approval.

5. Any changes to the mailing list must be requested for approval by the Office of the Chancellor, endorsed by the ITO.

6. The ITO reserves the right to revoke access to a specific mailing list at any time.

7. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the suspension or termination of the user’s mailing list access. Any violations of this policy will be reported to the appropriate university authorities.
